The hospice program provides assistance to patients so that dying patients can spend their final days at home, surrounded by family and friends. Volunteers would work in the hospice office and in patients’ homes. A free eight-week training program will be held Wednesdays from 1 to 4 p.m. beginning next month. The hospice office is at 24022 Calle de la Plata. Information: (949) 598-3000.
