General Electric Co., the top supplier of power-generation equipment and services, said it bought Los Angeles-based Ultrasonic Field Services Corp. to expand its Power Systems division’s service business. Terms of the transaction weren’t disclosed. Ultrasonic helps inspect machinery and turbines at oil, steel, aircraft and utility companies using ultrasonic technology.
