BALDWIN HILLS — A $25,000 reward was announced Tuesday for tips leading to the arrest and conviction of two men who killed a Baldwin Hills man last December while posing as utility workers.
Det. L.J. Jones said that at 7:45 a.m. on Dec. 13, two men dressed in orange uniforms tricked Yosef Hollier, the brother of the victim, into opening the front security screen at their home in the 3400 block South of Cochran Avenue.
“The suspects entered the residence at gunpoint and tied up Yosef Hollier,” Jones said during a news conference at the LAPD’s 77th Police Station. “They ransacked the residence [and] shot and killed Saud Hollier.”
The killers wore vests marked “DWP.” They were described as in their early 20s, about 6 feet tall and weighing 200 to 220 pounds. Anyone with information is asked to call Jones at (213) 237-1310.
