Vietnamese and Latino communities will unite Sunday for a walk-a-thon at Mile Square Regional Park to raise money for hurricane victims in Central America and Vietnam. About 20 Vietnamese youth groups in Orange County have linked up with the Vietnamese community in Houston to organize the project.
The walk-a-thon will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; the public is invited. Proceeds will be divided equally among hurricane victims in Central America and Vietnam and delivered through the American Red Cross. Information: (714) 891-3328 or https://www.walkathon.org.
