David Woodard, a Long Beach-based composer, will visit Chapparosa Park on Friday to conduct an orchestral requiem in honor of Anthony Ferris, the 8-year-old boy who died in the park Jan. 18 after a concrete bench tipped over and crushed him. The memorial begins at 7 p.m. at the park, 25191 Chapparosa Park Road. Information: (949) 362-4350.
