Toys R Us Inc. said Bob Moog has decided not to become chief executive of its new online unit as it had announced in May. The retailer said Moog couldn’t “extricate himself from his responsibilities” as chief executive of closely held University Games, which he founded. Toys R Us said it’s in talks with several candidates for the job and expects to announce its choice shortly.
