Admission: $4 for one and $10 for a family pass in advance; $6 for adults and $2 for children 13 and younger at the gate
What you will see: A 25- to 30-minute fireworks show set to patriotic music

Other events: Starting at 5:30 p.m. at the high school, there will be a concert, food booths and rides. Earlier in the day, there will be a parade, foot races, breakfast, baseball game and other activities in town. On July 4, there will be a tri-tip dinner and free concert at Libbey Park.

Other events: From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., there will be a festival at Santa Paula Airport, 822 Santa Maria St., which includes an air show, kids’ games, food and craft vendors, salsa-making contest, live music and a miniature steam train that will give rides (the cost is $3 per person at the gate).

Other events: Earlier in the day, there will be home run derbies, a pancake breakfast, free swimming at local high school pools, an orchestra concert and nature walk.

Admission: $8 for adults, $6 for children ages 6 to 12, free for children under 5 (pre-sale tickets are $6 and $4 and available at City Hall, Vons stores and McDonald’s restaurants in Ventura)
What you will see: A 25-minute pyro-musical called “The Magic of Fireworks”

Other events: A three-hour stage show called “The Music of America” with actors and bluegrass, blues and jazz music, children’s games, clowns, contests and balloon sculptures.
