Body of Man Shot to Death Found in Lake Forest

Orange County sheriff’s deputies are investigating the apparent slaying of a young man whose body was found on a Lake Forest road Sunday afternoon.
The man, who has not been identified, was discovered by deputies who were responding to a possible car crash about 2:50 p.m., said Lt. Rich Paddock.
The victim, believed to be in his early to mid-20s, was found lying on El Toro Road between Marguerite and Santa Margarita parkways. He died of multiple gunshot wounds, Paddock said.
He declined to release additional details until an autopsy is performed today or Tuesday.
