How encouraging it is to see U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) and Rep. Elton Gallegly (R-Simi Valley) combine their efforts in seeking legislation to thwart the recruiting of young members by the criminal street gangs.
Without such constraints on the sordid actions of the antisocial minority, we of the responsible majority would see an ever-expanding world of youthful crime and ruined lives.
We congratulate both Congressman Gallegly and Sen. Feinstein.
