NFL Bid

Until I read Eli Broad’s June 30 commentary, I had no idea how wonderful a football team is for a city: additional tax revenues; more value from existing investments; new businesses and jobs; revitalized neighborhoods; taxes from ticket sales and payrolls; restoration of formerly grand neighborhoods; visitors attracted to the urban core; Super Bowls (of course our team will be contestants), bringing even more visitors and economic benefit; significant amounts of money spent at new and existing businesses; creation of hundreds of jobs for local residents; safer neighborhoods; rising property values; rejuvenation of the district. Send the NFL to Kosovo immediately!
