The City Council this week unanimously approved a 48,000-square-foot addition to the Robinsons-May store at South Coast Plaza. Under the proposal made by C.J. Segerstrom & Sons, the basement and first floor of the store will be enlarged. Any parking lost to the addition will be made up by the demolition of the old Bennigan’s building, according to staff reports.
