The city’s Planning Commission will continue discussing a proposed 45,000-square-foot office building and health club development at a public hearing today.
The hearing started at the July 13 meeting but was continued because only two of the five commissioners could vote on the issue. Residents were worried that the 24-hour health club proposed for the space would interfere with their privacy and cause excessive noise.
The Ocean Ranch II development would be near the intersection of the Street of the Golden Lantern and Camino del Avion in the city’s southwest corner.
The commission will meet at 7 p.m. tonight in chambers, 27841 La Paz Road, Laguna Niguel.
