Responding to safety concerns raised by truck drivers and residents, the City Council will hold a public hearing tonight on whether parking should be prohibited on the east side of Fern Avenue. Council members will consider a proposal to eliminate on-street parking on a stretch of road about 100 to 155 feet south of Main Street. Parked vehicles limit access to the area and block traffic, supporters of the ban say. The council meets at 6:30 p.m. in chambers, 7800 Katella Ave.
