A woman turned herself in to police Wednesday in connection with the drug laboratory found at the La Quinta Inn on Centerpointe Drive on Tuesday. The woman, described as in her 20s, was interrogated by investigators from the federal Department of Justice, Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement, who are handling the investigation. She was later booked at Orange County Jail. The methamphetamine lab found in a room on the seventh floor of the hotel caught fire Tuesday evening when chemicals were disturbed during the cleanup. Hotel guests had to be evacuated for the second time that day. No injuries were reported.
