Eralena Catlin, a longtime Ventura resident, has died. She was 94.
Catlin was born Dec. 25, 1904, in Colton. She graduated from Burbank High School.
Catlin was an artist. She most enjoyed oil painting and watercolors, and also did ceramics.
She moved to Ventura County 27 years ago after living in Garden Grove.
She was preceded in death in 1996 by Dell Catlin, her husband of 69 years.
Catlin is survived by her son, Norman Catlin of Thousand Oaks; her sister, Madeline Reppe of Woodland Hills; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Eternal Valley Cemetery in Newhall.
Arrangements are being handled by Joseph R. Reardon Funeral Home, Ventura.
