The City Council will consider amending a zone ordinance so First American Financial Corp. can subdivide a piece of land into nine plots.
The City Council meeting will be held tonight at 6 p.m. in the council chambers at 22 Civic Center Plaza. The land encompasses about 62 acres bounded by Main Street, MacArthur Boulevard, Columbine Avenue and the Costa Mesa Freeway.
The site was initially established in 1987 as a master-planned urban community containing an office and retail and residential components. In 1997, First American Financial bought the rights to construct a corporate campus. Information: (714) 647-5804.
