GOVERNMENT CONTRACT AWARDS

* JSA Architecture and Planning in Ventura was awarded a contract for $800,000 from the city of Ojai to remodel the Ventura County sheriff’s station at 402 S. Ventura Road. The project involves the design of a 2,600-square-foot addition to the station and renovation of 500 square feet.
The work is expected to take nine months to complete.
* TCI Construction in Santa Barbara was awarded a contract for $195,780 from Ventura County to repair storm damage on Reeves Road in Ojai. The project, which will run from McNell Road to McAndrew Road, involves the repair of pipe and roadway shoulders.
The work should be completed by Aug. 6.
* Smith-Patterson Paving in Ventura has been awarded a contract for $6,298 from Ventura County to repair pavement at Sespe Creek Bank north of Fillmore. The project, approximately 3,000 feet north of Old Telegraph Road and 300 feet west of Goodenough Road, involves repairing property that was damaged during emergency work.
The project is scheduled for completion this month.
