Gun Control

* Is the gun control issue all that complicated? Instead of relying on representation by politicians whose campaigns are funded by the NRA, I suggest this great democratic country initiate a national plebiscite to determine the will of the people--should handgun ownership be legal or illegal?
One small codicil to the process--no TV advertising. Voters on this referendum would have to make their determination by actually reading about the issues involved, not by watching inflammatory television commercials funded by the gun lobby. It’s time for an informed electorate to go to the polls, make its voice heard and stop the killing.
