An attorney for Seacliff homeowners said their lawsuit against the Irvine-based Cayman Development Co. has been settled for $3.1 million. The settlement amount is not enough to fix all the design and construction problems plaguing the 104 upscale homes along Eaglecrest Drive, Greenbrier Drive and Ironwood Lane, attorney Thomas E. Miller said, but at least the leaky roofs and windows will be cured. Cayman representatives did not return repeated phone calls seeking comment.
