Laguna Woods resident Irma Feldcamp will see her dream come true next week with the opening of the Irma Feldcamp Pediatric Center at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center in Laguna Hills. Funded by the donation of Walt Disney Co. stock, where her late husband, George, worked for 30 years, the eight-bed unit will contain a patient family room as well as a Nintendo-equipped playroom. Having volunteered for 11 years at the Shriner’s Hospital in Los Angeles, the Laguna Woods resident said she was happy to help create a treatment center where the results of the care could be seen. The center, located at 24451 Health Center Drive, Laguna Hills, will be dedicated at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Information: (949) 452-7255.
