All hail the E-Zone. Well, perhaps not everyone, but that’s what many city officials are dubbing the entertainment corridor surrounding the city’s main attractions. In a study session Tuesday, city officials, the City Council majority and local entertainment industry members all supported E-Zone as the name for the areas around Beach Boulevard, including the Buena Park Mall. However, council members Steve Berry and Patsy Marshall disagreed. Berry suggested the city choose a more sophisticated name, while Marshall described the logo design for the new name as “blah.”
