City Manager Mark J. Ochenduszko presented the City Council with the proposed 1999-2000 budget during a workshop last week. Mayor Tim Keenan described the budget as “realistic and reasonable.” The proposed $38-million budget is a $9-million increase over the current financial plan, the result of costs attributed to capital-improvement projects and the reclassification of some police and finance department positions. A public hearing on the budget will be held June 28. Information: (714) 229-6688.
