U.K. Taps Rockwell Unit

A unit of Costa Mesa-based Rockwell International Corp. has received a $17-million contract from the United Kingdom Ministry of Defence to replace high-frequency radios on Royal Air Force aircraft. The award went to Rockwell Collins, a Cedar Rapids, Iowa, maker of communication and aviation electronics.
