Islamic Leader to Speak at Temple

Islamic leader and scholar Muzammil Siddiqi will speak at the Interfaith Council of South Orange County’s luncheon meeting at noon Wednesday.

Siddiqi is president of the Islamic Society of North America and director of the Islamic Society of Orange County in Garden Grove. He has lectured at universities and religious institutions throughout the world and has spoken at the world assembly of the World Council of Churches. He is an adjunct professor of Islamic studies and world religions at Cal State Fullerton.

All who attend the luncheon will receive a hard-bound copy of the Koran. A donation of $5 is suggested. The luncheon will be held at Temple Beth El, 27642 Terrace View, Aliso Viejo. To make reservations, call (949) 837-2941.
