There are thousands of varieties of epies. Here are a few favorites that make a good addition to any garden.
* Arturo: Large flower that is red on the outside and white on the inside, with some red veining down into each petal.
* Hermosissimus: Large scarlet-crimson bloom with violet-coral edges and an orange midstripe.
* Jersey Beauty: Large, intensely orange flower accented by creamy stamens and crimped petal tips. Vigorous grower.
* Lasting Beauty: White, pink and purple crinkled and ruffled extra-large flowers.
* Lily Dache: Medium to large flowers, primarily white with pink striping. The edge of the petals are pink and serrated.
* Marge Cocke: Large, brilliant yellow flowers.
* Pegasus: Extra-large ruffled flower with light raspberry pink, shading to purple on the outer petals.
* Reward: Delicate yellow flower with dark-yellow fringes and deeper yellow inner petals and sepals. Good bloomer.
* Sakurahime (“Princess of Cherry Blossoms” in Japanese): Medium rose-pink flower with silver-white edging. Excellent bloomer.
* Smile: Small, solid-magenta flower with outer petals in tan and magenta.
* Sparkle: Medium-brilliant red flower with a touch of fuchsia on the inner petals.
* Verano: Large, bright-yellow flower with yellow veining on outer petals.
