Income Tax Opinions Are Not Useful

Of what possible use to your readers are Jack Guttentag’s opinions (“Your Mortgage,” June 13) as to what real estate-related costs should be deductible for federal income tax purposes?
Do you pay him actual money for printing his opinions or does he pay you? If you pay him, how can I get in on the deal? I have opinions that are just as useless to your readers as his, and will work cheaper.
