Your June 17 article on Dr. Juan Villagomez was truly an inspiration to anyone who read it (“The Patient in the Mirror”). My elderly parents were patients of his up until the time he was diagnosed with his carcinoma. Sad to say there are not enough doctors with the bedside manners, love, patience and compassion that this man has demonstrated. He will remain an inspiration in our lives.
