The City Council recently approved an increase in the sewer connection fee, from $57.97 to $59.45 per fixture unit. The fee is collected before a building permit is issued. The increase is expected to provide about $5,000 in revenue for fiscal year 1999-2000. The funds will go toward sewer construction projects. Information: (714) 667-2796.
