The City Council has awarded a $981,945 contract to the Griffin Co. for the Doheny Village street improvements and the Doheny Park Road streetscape project. The projects consist of improvements to Las Vegas, Domingo and Victoria avenues, and the planting of queen palms and bottle trees on Doheny Park Road. Construction will probably not start until the end of the year because road improvement cannot begin until existing power lines are buried. Information: (949) 248-9890.
