Ethnic Hatreds in Kosovo

It is truly sad to read over and over again that the people returning to Kosovo and the Serbs are talking about “revenge.” What is it with these people? Haven’t they had enough of killing and destroying their own land? Sometimes I think we should keep our hands out of these problems and let them come to a conclusion themselves. Even if it means that they are continuing killing each other off for revenge. Where is their common sense?

Your June 24 profile of the KLA (Kosovo Liberation Army) was short of one important piece of information that has, so far, not been made available by any of the media; where does the KLA get its funding?

The arms, equipment, food, etc. have to be paid by someone and these things aren’t cheap, so who is the generous donor? Iran? Arab states? China? CIA?

A refresher on history and current events: It was Hitler and Milosevic who did the ethnic cleansing. It was Roosevelt and Churchill and Clinton and Blair who bombed Europe (not smartly sometimes) in order to save it.

And from all indications it seems that good has once again triumphed over evil. I hope this helps clear up the confusion of those who mixed up NATO with the Nazis.
