SEASON AT A GLANCE: The 6-foot-2, 215-pound second baseman leads the region with a .554 batting average, 16 home runs and 52 runs batted in. He has homered in five consecutive games and six of the last seven, with 19 RBIs.
WEEK AT A GLANCE: In three games, Santor went eight for 10 with nine runs, five home runs and 14 RBIs. He helped Highland (17-6, 11-2 in league play) pull into a first-place tie with Palmdale in the Golden League. “He’s been having a phenomenal year,” Coach Mike Van Cheri said. “He’s just a big, strong kid.”

Becky Rauth

SPORT: Track and field
SEASON AT A GLANCE: Rauth, who will attend Yale in the fall, is the yearly region leader in the 300-meter low hurdles with a best of 43.49, and she ranks second in the 100 high hurdles with a best of 15.07.
WEEK AT A GLANCE: Rauth set meet records in the winning the 100 highs in 15.07 and the 300 lows in 44.18 in the Mission League finals. She also ran legs on teams that won the 400 relay in 48.85 and the 1,600 relay in 4:15.50. Rauth’s 56.9 anchor leg in the 1,600 relay helped Harvard-Westlake overcome a 40-meter deficit to Louisville.
