LeCocq Pitches No-Hitter

Maureen LeCocq of Chaminade High threw a no-hitter and the Eagles clinched their second consecutive Mission League title Monday with a 10-0 victory over host Alemany.
LeCocq (17-2), who struck out 11 and had three hits, faced one batter over the minimum, hitting the leadoff batter with a pitch in the fourth.
Freshman Shannon Barceloux went four for five with a three-run home run in the seventh for Chaminade (18-6-1, 8-0 in league play).
Notre Dame 3, Louisville 1--Cheryl Acosta and Amanda De La Cerda each had run-scoring hits for the Knights (18-7, 6-3) in a Mission League game at Louisville.
Harvard-Westlake 9, Flintridge Sacred Heart 3--Elena Ferrero and Kim Koral each drove in three runs for the Wolverines (13-13, 6-3), who will host Notre Dame today for second place in the Mission League.
Agoura 3, Calabasas 0--Lauren Capser had two hits and three runs batted in for host Agoura (7-12) in the third-place game of the Simi Valley tournament. Amy Rosson struck out six for Calabasas (13-7).
