The City Council recently awarded a $15,900 contract to Mike Fahmie to repair the Civic Center’s “dry stream.” The colored stone adjacent to the Orange County Courthouse is weatherworn and needs to be renovated, the council decided. The repair project provides for removing loose rocks and refurbishing the surface. New colored stone will be installed to match the existing design, and the dry stream will be waterproofed. Funds will come from the Civic Center Capital Projects Account. Information: (714) 571-4200.
