The joint meeting of the City Council and the Planning Commission set for Tuesday to consider a draft vision statement and specific goals for the General Plan has been rescheduled for June 4. The City Council last week unanimously extended the building moratorium on large projects for another year. Despite opposition from developers, officials decided to continue the building freeze while the General Plan is updated. The General Plan, which establishes building and development standards in the city, has not been updated since 1974. Information: (949) 493-1171.
