Ventura Law Firm Changes Its Name
The Ventura law firm of Norman, Dowler, Sawyer, Israel & Hancock has changed its name to Norman, Dowler, Sawyer, Israel, Walker & Barton.
The name change was made to include long-standing partners in the firm and because former managing partner Diana Hancock has moved to Washington state.
The informal name of the firm remains Norman, Dowler.
Michael G. Walker has been with the firm since 1990. Already involved in business, construction and landlord-tenant litigation, he will assume a large portion of Hancock’s work, particularly in employment law matters.
Loye Barton also became associated with the firm in 1990. Her practice includes corporate law, estate planning, trust administration and family law.
