The Master’s 3, Pomona-Pitzer 2--Alison Freeman scored in the 76th minute to lift the Mustangs in a nonconference game at Pomona-Pitzer.
Pomona-Pitzer (5-8) handed Cal Lutheran its first Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference home loss in 8 1/2 years of conference membership Wednesday, snapping a 50-game streak.
Sarah Riojas added two goals for the Mustangs (8-8).
Cal Lutheran 4, Occidental 0--Leilani Green, Ashley Scott, Cathy Turpin and Mia Khan scored for the Regals in an SCIAC game at Cal Lutheran.
MEN’S SOCCER
Cal Lutheran 3, Occidental 0--Lars Ensberg, John Teeter, and Andrew Montenegro scored to lead the Kingsmen (8-6, 5-3) in a SCIAC game at Cal Lutheran.
Occidental College (4-8-1, 2-4-1) is 1-24 all-time against the Kingsmen.
The Master’s 2, U.S. International 0--Anthon Brueggeman scored twice and the Mustangs won a nonconference match at U.S. International.
Brueggeman, who has six goals, converted a penalty kick and scored on a 10-yard shot from the left side after taking a crossing pass from Curtis Lewis.
The Master’s (7-10), which recorded its second consecutive shutout, got six saves from Eric Pattison.
Jared Saron of U.S. International (4-9) made seven saves.
In a late Friday game:
UC Irvine 2, CS Northridge 1--Oliver Zlomislic scored from three yards on a pass from Scott Bowman in the 78th minute for the Anteaters in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation game at UC Irvine.
Federico Arroyo gave Northridge (6-7, 0-3) a 1-0 lead in the 16th minute when he scored from two yards on a pass from William Diaz.
The Anteaters (6-7-1, 1-0) tied it in the 22nd minute on Jon Spencer’s goal.
GIRL’S VOLLEYBALL
Cate def. Cornerstone Christian, 15-6, 15-3, 14-16, 15-5--Lisa Hale served 11 of the Eagles’ 16 points in game three of a Condor League match at Cornerstone Christian.
Linsey Hilgerman had six of her eight kills during the same game.
Lisa Gin led the Eagles (6-3, 3-2) with nine kills and eight blocks.
Sylmar tournament--Narbonne defeated North Hollywood, 15-8, in the championship game at Sylmar High.
Narbonne beat Sylmar, 17-15, and North Hollywood defeated Taft, 15-13, in the semifinals.
Sylmar, Narbonne, Taft and Chatsworth entered quarterfinal matches with 8-0 records after two rounds of pool play.
Sylmar defeated defending champion Venice, 15-9, in the quarterfinals.
In other quarterfinals, Narbonne defeated Poly, 15-10, while North Hollywood defeated Chatsworth, 15-12, and Taft beat Littlerock, 15-9.
