CBS Foundation Honors Buena High Grad

Leticia Lopez, a Claremont McKenna College senior from Ventura, won a $2,500 scholarship from the CBS Foundation. Lopez, daughter of Robert and Maria Lopez of Ventura, graduated from Buena High School and studied at Ventura College before transferring to Claremont McKenna. Lopez was one of 18 students nationwide to receive the honor. The scholarship is designed to assist minority students who are interested in a broadcast journalism career.
