St. Margaret’s 51, San Diego Midway Baptist 22--Senior fullback Andreas Werner’s three touchdowns led St. Margaret’s (2-1) to a nonleague victory at Imperial Beach Mira Mesa High School.
Werner finished with 14 carries for 77 yards.
Senior quarterback Rhett Swanson rushed for two touchdowns.
Tartan cornerback Brent Comerford intercepted two of quarterback Lance Webb’s passes, one of which he returned for a 70-yard touchdown.
Senior Stuart Cahalan returned an interception for a 30-yard touchdown.
Webb complete 16 of 37 passes for 207 yards and three interceptions. Swanson finished three for eight for 42 yards.
