Gay Pride Event to Be Held at Beach Saturday

The third Ventura County “Pride by the Sea” festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at San Buenaventura State Beach.
Ventura County Rainbow Alliance is organizing the gay pride event, which will feature a mechanical bull, live music, dancing, sumo wrestling, a Jolly Jumper, informational booths and a beer garden.
Admission is $7; $5 for senior citizens and free for children under 12. Parking is free. For more information, call 339-6340.
