WASHINGTON — Participants in a children’s Bible club that has been barred from meeting in a public school along with other after-school activities will take their case to the U.S. Supreme Court on Wednesday.
The Good News Club, which is for elementary school-age children, wants the high court to rule that the Milford Central School in upstate New York discriminated against the club by disallowing its use of school facilities.
The case is the only one regarding church-state separation expected to be heard by the Supreme Court this term.
