Economic reports due this week

* Today, the Federal Reserve will report on consumer borrowing during November.
* Wednesday, Commerce Department will report on factory inventories held in November.
* Wednesday, Labor Department will report on import prices for November.
* Friday, Commerce Department will report on retail sales for December. If sales declined as forecast, it would be the third straight month without an increase and would be the longest string since sales fell in November 1990-January 1991, when the economy was in its last recession.
* Friday, Labor Department is to report on the December producer price index, a gauge of prices paid to factories, farmers and other producers.
