Mater Dei, Santa Margarita Reschedule Soccer Showdown

Friday’s Serra League game between second-ranked Mater Dei and third-ranked Santa Margarita was one of several boys’ soccer games canceled because of wet grounds. The game at Santa Margarita has been rescheduled for Monday at 1 p.m. Monday is a holiday for both schools.
Mater Dei is 18-1-1 and 1-0 in the Serra League. Santa Margarita is 15-3-2, 1-0.

The Interscholastic Equestrian League horse show scheduled for Sunday at the Huntington Central Park Equestrian Center has been postponed due to soggy field conditions.
The show, which includes Dressage, Western and English competition among more than 150 students from 50 county high schools, is tentatively rescheduled for March 31.
