Diane Valentine; Apartment Complex Manager

Diane Valentine, a property manager, died Saturday at her home in Ventura, after a battle with brain cancer. She was 50.
She was born on Oct. 3, 1950, in Chattanooga, Tenn., and was the daughter of Bill and Peggy Petitt. She moved to California with her parents when she was 6.
She was a property manager, along with her husband, Craig, at the Villa Boccali apartment complex. Friends and family members said she had a zest for life and a sense of adventure.
In addition to her husband of 32 years and her parents, she is survived by son Chip, of Chico; daughters Tiffany Taylor of Sedro-Wooley, Wash., Teona Brown and Tawny Valentine of Ventura; brother Robert Petitt and sister Sharon Hill, both of Ventura; and a granddaughter.
A memorial service is scheduled at 11 a.m. Friday at Ventura Missionary Church. Graveside services will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Ted Mayr Funeral Home in Ventura.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3737 Telegraph Road, Suite D, Ventura, CA 93003.
