Tax Advisory Panel Plans Valley Community Meeting

The Los Angeles business tax advisory committee will hold a community meeting from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Friday at El Portal Theater in North Hollywood. It will be the only community session planned for the San Fernando Valley.
The meeting gives business representatives a chance to comment on reforms recommended for the city’s antiquated business tax code.
The session, at 5269 N. Lankershim Blvd., is being hosted by the issues committee of the Valley Industry and Commerce Assn.
