Registration Has Begun for Free Asthma Camp

The American Lung Assn. of Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties is registering participants for its free summer day camp, designed for children who have chronic asthma.
Camp Wheez will be held Aug. 13-17 at Sacred Heart School in Ventura. Children scheduled to enter grades 1-6 in the fall are eligible.
The camp will offer daily classes in lung education aimed at helping youths better manage their asthma and learn to be more aware of situations that could trigger an attack. There will also be sports and crafts.
