Two Santa Clarita residents were shot, one critically, at a house in which a suspected methamphetamine lab was found, authorities said Wednesday.
A man called police early Wednesday to report that his wife had just been shot, according to Lt. Scott Young of the Santa Clarita Valley sheriff’s station.
Police went to the house in the 23400 block of Darcy Lane and found a man and woman, both of whom had gunshot wounds to the upper body.
The victims, whom police did not identify, were taken to Henry Mayo Medical Center, where the woman was reported in critical condition and the man in stable condition.
Police found what they believed to be “materials consistent with a meth lab” at the house, Young said.
