No. 11 Long Beach Jordan (6-1, 3-0) vs. No. 1 Long Beach Poly (6-1, 3-0) at Long Beach Veterans Stadium, 7 p.m. Friday
Long Beach Poly may be one of the top teams in the nation, but the Jackrabbits lost their only tough matchup this season--against Concord De La Salle. By comparison, Long Beach Jordan has defeated quality opponents, such as Anaheim Esperanza, Compton Dominguez and Chino Hills Ayala. Both teams possess an explosive offense. If Jordan can hang around until the start of the fourth quarter, the Panthers have a shot at a rare Moore League title.
