64 Cases Confirmed in Legionnaires’ Outbreak

The number of confirmed cases in an outbreak of Legionnaires’ disease in Barrow in Furness, England, rose to 64, with 30 more people displaying symptoms that suggest the disease, a hospital said. One man has died.
Legionnaires’ disease is a respiratory infection caused by bacteria living in water droplets.
Symptoms are at first flu-like, followed by fever and chills, then a dry cough.
