Jurors Interviewed for Double-Murder Trial

Jury selection began Monday for the murder trial of a Long Beach man who is accused of killing his two children and leaving them in a trash bin wrapped in plastic.
Henry James White, 29, pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity in the deaths of his children, Brianna, 1, and Christopher, 5. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.
Authorities say White killed his children, wrapped them in plastic and threw them in a trash bin outside his apartment in 1999. He then went to the Los Angeles County sheriff’s station in Paramount and told deputies he had hurt his kids and led them to their bodies.
