CBS Cancels ‘Robbery Homicide Division’

CBS canceled the crime series “Robbery Homicide Division,” starring Tom Sizemore, after a disappointing performance Saturday night.
A network spokesman said the decision to remove the low-rated drama from film director Michael Mann was unrelated to Sizemore’s arrest over the weekend on suspicion of domestic battery after a woman alleged that the actor hit and threatened her.
The network, a unit of Viacom Inc., tried playing the show Saturdays after it struggled in its initial Friday time slot.
CBS isn’t saying the show is canceled, but it has finished production and there are no plans to broadcast the remaining episodes.
